ACT Accredited Foster Care Program

Positive Futures Caring Together

An Accredited Training Program for Foster Carers in the ACT

This pre-service training programme for prospective foster carers in the ACT has been developed to provide carers with essential knowledge and skills that will assist them in their caring role. It is based on five nationally accredited competencies that form part of the CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. The training is assessed and each participant will be awarded a statement of attainment on successful completion of these units of competency.
