Learning and Development Review – 2012

Last week the Centre hosted a celebration of the Learning and Development unit's 2012 achievements.

Some 2012 highlights include:

  • 37 Training Calendar programs attracted 655 attendees.
  • 15 Best Interests Case Practice Professional Development sessions attracted 1425 attendees.
  • The Residential Care Learning and Development Strategy attracted 1201 attendees to 8 programs.
  • 15 In-House Training Sessions were conducted.
  • 12 Transition Planning for Leaving Care Forums attracted 329 attendees.

2012 also saw the Centre deliver Know How sessions to share innovative practices, and continue our work supporting organisations with application of  Program Logic analysis.

The group of trainers, workers, Centre staff and sector collegues enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate these achievements, while looking forward to further opportunities that that are being offered throughout 2013.

Jenny Ferber from the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council also delivered a presentation about their work, and opportunities for future collaboration.
