Course Overview
This training provides guidance on understanding the range of impacts of adverse life experiences and trauma on young people. It includes practical information about how to talk to young people and to raise ‘difficult issues’ that could result in their disengagement. It focuses on how a practitioner can engage with a young person about their use of violence in the home.
This training highlights skills to focus on the resilience, strengths, and capabilities of young people in order to support them to overcome the impact of negative experiences and move forward in their journey.
