How can you embed children’s mental health and wellbeing into practice and organisational culture?
The second in our ‘Trauma informed insights’ series, Emerging Minds will share insights on children’s mental health and how organisations and practitioners can work in a trauma-informed approach that highlights children’s voices and experiences which can help develop trauma-informed service delivery and programs.
This workshop will cover:
- The impact of intergenerational trauma on children’s mental health and wellbeing
- Trauma-informed ways of working that can promote children’s wellbeing and family resilience to help support the ongoing and increasing complexity of clients’ experiences.
- How to embed trauma-informed practices and ways of working within organisational operations, culture and inform leaders’ decisions to help ensure that children’s mental health and wellbeing is highlighted and supported throughout service delivery.
This OPEN Forum will be particularly valuable to those designing and leading child and family programs and for passionate-change makers wanting to better embed children’s social and emotional wellbeing in their organisational advocacy and strategy.
