2023 Residential Care Awards finalists announced

Finalists in the 2023 Residential Care Awards have been announced.

The awards are given each year in recognition of the exceptional work carried out in the field by residential carers. The aim of these awards is to recognise, celebrate and encourage work of the highest standard that contributes to positive outcomes for children and young people living in residential care.

The 2023 finalists are:

Residential Carer Award finalists
A person who has achieved significant, positive outcomes for children and young people living in residential care and demonstrated a commitment to learning and development.

Residential Team Award finalists
A team within a residential house who have worked collaboratively to achieve significant, positive outcomes for children and young people living in residential care.

Leadership Award finalists
A person who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and innovation in their leadership role which has had a significant impact on residential care systems and outcomes for children and young people.

RCLDS Learning Award finalists
Celebrate true dedication to learning and development with our RCLDS Learning Award, recognising someone who has demonstrated commitment through regular attendance at training including but not limited to RCLDS training.

Lifetime Achievement Award finalists

This year two Judges Awards have been introduced, recognising outstanding contributions within the residential care sector. These awards are:

  • Judges Award for Initiative and Innovation
  • Judges Award for Outstanding Work in the Community

Award winners will be announced at ResiROCKS 2023 on 10 October.
